Table of Contents
Logos
Logo, seal and athletic mark usage in publications for external audiences must be approved by the Office of Marketing Communications. Internal promotional pieces do not need approval but should include the university logo. Please contact Darryl Brown, our art director, at darrylb@georgefox.edu or ext. 2123 if you have questions about graphics and logo use.
Athletics
The athletics branding guidelines serve as a guide for implementing the Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox University Athletics brand identity system. The purpose of this guide is not to restrict creativity, but to provide helpful guidelines to enable Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox staff, partners, suppliers and licensees to express the Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox Athletics brand effectively across a wide range of applications and media.
Template Resources
We offer a variety of template resources to the community, including electronic letterhead, branded presentation templates and virtual meeting backgrounds. Using these templates helps us ensure proper use of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox brand and its brand-building resources. If you see an opportunity for an additional template, please let us know by contacting Darryl Brown at darrylb@georgefox.edu or ext. 2123.
Department Wordmarks and Designs
Marcom has these wordmarks and designs for university departments. These can be used for any internal graphic needs, such as banners, email headers, stickers and T-shirts.
Please submit a Print and Graphic Services request for customized department wordmarks and graphics. Please contact Brandy Donavant at bdonavant@georgefox.edu if you have any questions.
Brand Style Guide
Any university publication should follow our brand style guide. This guide was created to help the university present a consistent and positive visual brand message across print, digital, social, and video media.
Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox University's editorial style is based on The Associated Press Stylebook (the primary style source), Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, and The Chicago Manual of Style.
Any Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox University publication intended for an external audience must be reviewed and approved by the marketing communications office for accuracy, editorial style, and graphic representation.

Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox Brand Colors
Primary Color Palette
Navy and slate blue are the primary colors to be used in large areas. Navy should always be at 100% tint, since lighter tints of it can appear slightly purple.
The slate blue, on the other hand, can be used in any percentage tint.

“Old Gold”
Old Gold and Navy Blue are the traditional school colors used in Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox athletics. Old Gold works best when a spot metallic ink is available; it does not translate well into CMYK or RBG, which is why it is rarely used outside of athletics.
