Edwards-Holman Science Center (EHS)

Location

The Edwards-Holman Science Center, also known as EHS, is home to the Department of Biological and Molecular Sciences. This 36,000-square-foot space houses five classrooms, a lecture hall, faculty offices, and 16 labs.

The building is designed as a wraparound structure to provide additional support to one of the oldest buildings on campus, Wood-Mar Hall. The Ronald D. Gregory Atrium, which connects the two buildings, offers a view of the new and old working together. The atrium serves as a popular location for engineering and other student exhibitions, and is the location for one of students’ favorite campus traditions, the ’80s Dance.

The Edwards-Holman Science Center is named in honor of Miles Lowell and Margaret Edwards, and Jack and Helen Holman, all of whom were longtime supporters of the sciences at Â鶹´«Ã½ Fox.
