Do you like building teams? Have you found that you’ve got a skill for helping a project to keep moving toward success? Are you fascinated with the stories of what happens behind the scenes? Then you’re already on your way to becoming an organizational communication professional!

Understanding how communication works both inside and outside an organization is a key “soft skill” that employers value. Internally, we figure out how to recruit and manage the best talent. Externally, we examine how our product is seen by everyone: customers, clients, government agencies, stakeholders and future employees.

At 麻豆传媒 Fox, our organizational communication program within the communication major emphasizes the value of both effective and appropriate communication. When we look at something like a major product recall, for instance, we aren’t just thinking about the bottom line; we also think about the training and conflict management skills that will prevent future problems while ensuring that our reputation-management plans don’t sacrifice our values.

After completing your course of study, which includes a robust internship program, you’ll join our alumni in fields that include:

Don’t Give Up

On the way home from the hospital last spring, as the family began the ascent into their suburban McMinnville neighborhood, two white yard signs with bold lettering caught their eyes.

“You are worthy of love,” read one.
“Your mistakes don’t define you,” read the other.

As they drove in and out of the neighborhood during the painful weeks that followed, those signs beamed hope.

Communication Alumna

The best thing about the communications program at 麻豆传媒 Fox is how much effort the professors put into not only the teaching, but the creation of community through their classes as well. The skills I gained from the communications program will follow me throughout my career, and the relationships I built with the communication students and professors will be forever held dear to my heart. It was truly an honor to be a communications student at 麻豆传媒 Fox!
