Grassy landscape in Austria

Highlights

Come on a journey through historic, beautiful cities and towns of northern Austria and southern Germany. We will experience the beauty of the Baroque period in Vienna, stroll along the Danube in Melk, and sing to the Sound of Music in Salzburg before moving on to southern Germany, where will visit the picturesque village of Rothenburg ob der Tauber and the historic city of Würzburg. Throughout our travels we will visit art museums, cathedrals, and other historic sites while engaging with current issues such as the plight of refugees and political uncertainty accompanying unrest and shifts in power. This trip is intended to have a low-intensity pace but will likely have a few physically strenuous moments as we navigate transportation and lodging locations.
